Faithfully Prepared

So I have known for a while that I was lead to do something.  But my something was WHAT?  As I thought I was preparing myself for that WHAT, I was getting nowhere.  It wasn’t until I attended a Periscope bible study with a group of women called SWAG out of Pooler, Ga.  Now the speaker for the evening was someone that I knew as I was growing up but I had never really witnessed her giving the word in a live forum.  That was the night I spoke you have to be “Faithfully Prepared”.  Keep in mind I continued down the path of WHAT I am I to do to reach people?  My struggle was real!  I came to a place of a mental block and I was to the point that each time I tried to look at any information I would literally be in tears. I thought I was going crazy!  How can writings that I have written now intimidate me?  It wasn’t until I was preparing for church and realized I did not charge my phone the night before, once I picked my phone up to place it on charge, BOOM there was a message!

1 Timothy 4:15-16

15 Give your complete attention to these matters.  Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress. 16 Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching.  Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.

There was my WHAT!  When Having Authority Takeover…….God was changing those around me which was causing me to change as well.  My 6 year old daughter was setting her alarm clock for  5 a.m. Yes 5 a.m!  She would get up earlier with the intention of getting in some extra reading.  This encouraged me as well, I couldn't dare let this little girl get up before me to prepare for her day.  So we both get up early, together. I have learned that you must prepare for the day and it must start with the Giver of Doers...Communication has been tremendous when understanding how to deal with my 10 year old son.  Instead of giving a list of things that must be done we have started having family meetings where everyone has a choice.  When you have children you think you know everything that's good for them, but you don’t.  Children have just as much wisdom as an adult, the voice of a child can lead you.
