Meet Our Wonderful Speakers
Evangelist Tasha Jones is an ordained minister with a passion for praise, worship, and reaching the hearts of the people with the unadulterated Word of God.
She resides in Eatonton, Georgia with her husband Minister Charles Jones, II, her son, Charles Jones, III and a daughter Cierra Imani Jones.
She is the daughter of the house of the Rocky Branch Baptist Church and serves as the minister of Christian Education.
She has served in the capacity of women’s ministry leader, choir minister leader, and director of Christian Education.
In 2011 she served as Women’s Pastor of the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Hull, Ga.
She is the author of REJUVENATE: MARRIAGE, MOTHERHOOD, AND MINISTRY.
Professionally, Tasha Jones is 1997 graduate of John S. Davidson Fine Arts School. She is a 2001 graduate of Georgia Southern University. She is a 2004 graduate of Georgia College and State University. She is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University with Specialist Degree in Teaching and Learning. In 2007, she was awarded the Greene County Teacher of the Year Award. She is currently employed with the Putnam County Board of Education where she serves as an academic resource teacher.
The Reverend Audrey Hawkins is a native of Warren County, Warrenton, Georgia. She is the daughter of Pastor Robert Lee and Evelyn Smith. She is the wife of Walter Hawkins, Jr., and to that union God blessed them with two handsome sons, Jaden and Justice Hawkins.
Rev. Hawkins is a member of Second Mineral Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Washington, County Georgia. She accepted her call into the gospel ministry in January of 2009. She had her initial sermon and received her ministry licenses in May of 2009 and was ordained in October 2009. Rev. Hawkins also serves God and her church home faithfully in several capacities. She serves as the Youth Minister, teenage bible class teacher and the assistant adult bible study teacher, President of the Women’s Ministry, and Directress of the senior choir. She is also an active member of the church’s nursing home ministry.
Rev. Hawkins is a 1997 graduate of Warren County High School. She furthered her education by attending Augusta Technical College, where she received her diploma in Business Office Administration. She later obtained her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University Online, and is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Christian Counseling at Liberty University. Rev. Hawkins also attended Laihori Bible College in Augusta, Georgia, where she received training in biblical studies and the Old Testament Prophets. She is employed by the Warren County School System, where she serves as the bookkeeper for Mildred E. Freeman Elementary. Rev. Hawkins is also a vibrant contributor and liaison within her community. She mentors and gives spiritual guidance to at-risk youth and young women within her community and aboard.
Rev. Hawkins, a true woman of God, seeks God’s face each and every day - chasing after his wisdom and his knowledge.
She is a firm believer in Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
Clarissa Johnson is the founder and Lead Pastor of A Light of Hope Christian Ministries, located in Pooler, GA. She is the founder of WALK (Women Appointed to Lead in the Kingdom)- a mentoring group to aid, support, encourage, mentor and train women pastors and leaders to walk in their authority and not their gender. She’s also an author and published her first book, Sleeping With the Enemy in 2013 and is currently preparing to release her second project, A Light of Hope Inspirations- Encouragement Inspired by Everyday Life. She currently lives in Savannah, GA with her husband, Glenn, 2 daughters, Claranesia and Kennae, and grandson, Cayden.
